About BraSizeConvert.com

Built for anyone who has ever been confused by a size label while shopping internationally.

What This Site Does

BraSizeConvert.com is a free tool that converts bra sizes between the seven major international sizing systems: United States, United Kingdom, European (EU/Germany), France/Belgium/Spain, Italy, Australia/New Zealand, and Japan.

Enter your size in whichever system you know, and the converter shows your equivalent size in every other system instantly, with the band size displayed in the correct unit for each country.

Why It Exists

Bra sizing is one of the more confusing aspects of international clothing shopping. A US 34C is not the same label as a French 34C, and UK and EU cup letters diverge significantly at larger sizes. Travelers, expats, and anyone buying from international online retailers run into this problem constantly.

This tool was built to remove that friction. No ads cluttering the calculator, no registration required, no app to download.

How the Conversions Work

Band sizes across all systems represent the same underbust measurements, just expressed differently. US and UK bands are in inches; EU, French, Italian, and Japanese bands are in centimeters. The French and Italian systems add 15 to the EU band number. Japan uses the same centimeter scale as the EU system.

Cup sizes represent volume increments, each step equal to roughly one inch (about 2.5 cm) difference between bust and underbust. US and UK cup names match for smaller sizes but diverge from DD onward. EU, French, Italian, and Japanese systems use a simpler A through K or L letter sequence without doubled letters.

All conversions on this site are based on standard industry tables used by lingerie brands and sizing guides worldwide. For a complete visual reference of all band and cup equivalents side by side, see the Size Chart.

Accuracy and Fit

Sizing conversions give you a reliable starting point. However, individual brands cut and grade their bras differently, so the same size from two different labels may fit differently. We always recommend trying on bras when possible, or checking the specific brand's own size guide. The Fit Guide walks through how to measure yourself at home, and the Bra Size Calculator turns those measurements into your size across all systems automatically.
